The City of Oxford Silver Band is Oxfordshire's oldest brass band.

We've been performing, training, and competing at brass band contests for well over 125 years.

We play at fetes and concerts throughout the year and at Christmas we go Christmas Carolling!

The Silver Band is a friendly, social organisation. Playing in a band is fun and a great way to make new friends, and learning an instrument is proven to be good for your health!

We welcome new players of all ages and abilities.

Three of our bands (beginners, training, and community) rehearse every Monday evening, and our Concert and Contest Band meets on a Wednesday night at our purpose-built band hall in Temple Cowley.
