AYYO IS an artist led project space near Oxford. AYYO FACILITATES residencies, collaborative projects and exhibitions from artists in the UK and internationally through the ART PITCH residency programme. AYYO INVITES selected artists to make work at the studio and to exhibit, screen or perform new work in the gallery space. AYYO CURATES contemporary art from emerging and mid career UK and international artists. AYYO PROMOTES the work of artists to new audiences. AYYO ENCOURAGES experimentation and dialogue between artists, curators and other participants and offers the gallery as a shared critical context. AYYO SUPPORTS artists by offering mentoring and opportunities for professional development and networking. AYYO SHARES its activities with art going audiences and with the wider community through exhibitions, talks and events.
AYYO is based at Overlay Studio near Charlbury which was founded in 2010 and is home to a mix of creative practitioners and projects. AYYO Director is Clare Carswell MA(RCA).
