Oxfam Artopia- creating a collaborative piece about our vision of climate utopia!

Closing Date:
Thursday, 22 July, 2010
Salary / Fee:
Voluntary - expenses paid

Artopia is a participatory art project, using art to help people think about the kind of environment we want for the generations coming after us. We will be delivering climate change and art workshops throughout the day, and then launching the finished piece in a public space. We are taking it across the South East but will be at the Witney Corn Exchange on 22nd July.

There were a few ways that artists could get involved (I would love it if you were!)

I am looking for artists who could spare a few more hours on that day to help facilitate workshops with youth groups and community groups who will come in.

I am looking for artists who might just like to come and participate, we would showcase their particular contribution and we would highlight their contribution in the media we do.

Lastly- we are booking slots throughout the day for community groups who may like to come along and do a free workshop on climate change and art. You may have a group like this so please get in touch if that is the case.

If any of these things appeal to you then please do get back in touch, otherwise do pass it on to anyone else you know who might like to participate.

Many thanks,

Lucy
