Creative Partners with a wide range of practices and experience are needed to support the development of our creative learning programme at Cogges.

Cogges Manor Farm, formerly an agricultural farm museum under the stewardship of Oxfordshire County Council, will be under the management of a new Charitable Trust from April 2010. The County Council maintain a keen interest in the educational value of the site, and during the coming year are supporting a programme of pilot learning opportunities for Schools and the wider community.

The aim of the pilot programme is to offer new approaches to learning across a broad range of themed areas. The theme we are adopting for the year ahead is: Seasons & Cycles and will particularly focus on outdoor learning. We hope the project will stimulate and inspire participants, teachers and creative partners, and will inform the future development of the learning programme at Cogges.

The Learning @ Cogges Steering Group wish to bring together a group of creative partners with whom to collaborate in developing and delivering the programme during 2010. We are interested in finding people to work with us who have experience of working with younger children (Primary schools in this instance) and value creative and outdoor learning. A wide range of artforms or types of practice from gardening to sculpture, music to ecology, story telling to archaeology, film making to performance, cooking to outdoor learning, can be considered - for a full brief please contact the project co-ordinator. Please note the deadline for this application has been put back to Thursday 4th Feb. Applicants must be available for interview on Tuesday 9th February (pm).
