The North Wall Arts Centre opened in 2007 in Oxford's vibrant Summertown in the north of the City. The imaginative design of the theatre, gallery and studio spaces has already won it a national award from the Royal Institute of British Architects - and our aim is to achieve the same excellence and innovation in our programmes. The North Wall offers some of the most dynamic, exciting new theatre that is an alternative to the mainstream; shows that require intimacy as well as large-scale ambition but fit into the theatre's flexible space. We aim to deliver a programme which entertains and appeals to wide audience and has young people at its heart. Our modern gallery, showcasing contemporary talent from Oxfordshire and beyond is also part of the North Wall experience.
