The subjects I most enjoy painting are canals, waterways, woodlands, vibrant floral canvases & dog portraits.

I am a self taught artist & have enjoyed painting since I was a child.

My grandfather was a very good pen & ink artist so maybe I inherited my talent from him.

Acrylic paints are my favourite medium as they are so versatile and suit the way I paint.

They enable me to add fine detail to realistic scenes and I can achieve vibrant bold colours to my floral art. Much of my inspiration comes from the wonderful local countryside and the changing flowers in my garden.

Over the last 20 years I have held many solo exhibitions. It's nice to think as well as my own enjoyment painting my artwork also gives others much pleasure. I would like to thank all who have supported me and to those who have purchased & commissioned my work over the years.
