The National Youth Guitar Ensemble (NYGE) offers the highest standard of ensemble training in the U.K for young aspiring classical guitarists. NYGE currently comprises of 36 of the U'K's finest young guitarists (aged 13 - 18 Year old) who have all auditoned to gain their place in the ensemble.

NYGE is currently led by Musical Director Gerald Garcia. This year is NYGE's 10 Year Anniversary. To celebrate this special event NYGE will be performing with Virtuoso Percussionist Keith Fairbairn and working with Guitarist/Composer Gary Ryan.

NYGE rehearse and perform together twice a year at residential courses and festivals at Easter and in the summer.

The Easter 10 Anniverary Concerts will take place on: 2.30pm on Monday 5th April at Quorn Village Hall, Leicetershire 7.30pm on Tuesday 6th April at Keble College Chapel, Oxford.

NYGE is affliated with the charity EGTA. The ensemble is looking for organsiations and charities to help support the ensemble and fundraise. One of NYGE's main concerns is to ensure that any succesful applicant, regardless of their financial status, is given the opportunity to take part in the ensemble.
