Camino del Flamenco are a production company that runs classes, workshops and shows all over Britain in Flamenco dance and guitar.

We specialise in running workshops for schools and colleges. Via our 7 dance teachers and 3 guitarists we offer regular classes in more than 10 counties around Britain, incluing classes for adults and children in 2 centres in Oxfordshire, one in Banbury and the other between Abingdon and Didcot.

Dance 8 is a teaching and performance dance company, based in the Vale of White Horse area.

We are professionally trained and have worked as individual performing artists for the past 10 years.

In 2008 we came together to share our experiences, to develop dance shows and dance classes for schools and the community. Our collaboration constantly helps our professional development.

FirebirdMusic performs a romantic atmospheric fusion of Latin, Gypsy, Flamenco and Classical music on a combination of voices and intruments including guitars, violin, viola, flutes, recorders and percussion. Our favourite venue is a candlelit restaurant or a riverside cafe where people get lured to love and to fall in love with each other, with the music, with life.

Community choir open to anyone who would enjoy singing in a group - whether beginner or experienced. Monday evenings during term time, 7-9pm at St Anthony of Padua church hall, 115 Headley Way OX3 7SS. Variety of harmony songs including some from different cultures. Optional performing at local events. Leaders Janet Stansfeld and Liz Hodgson, who are also available to run singing courses and workshops. £8 or £5 concessionary rate per session, discount for block booking.

THE NATIONAL YOUTH GUITAR ENSEMBLE

The National Youth Guitar Ensemble (NYGE) offers the highest standard of ensemble training in the U.K for young aspiring classical guitarists. NYGE currently comprises of 36 of the U'K's finest young guitarists (aged 13 - 18 Year old) who have all auditoned to gain their place in the ensemble.

NYGE is currently led by Musical Director Gerald Garcia. This year is NYGE's 10 Year Anniversary.

The Oxford Historical Dance Society was founded in 1981 and each year, arrange a series of one day workshops 10.30 - 4.30 pm covering different historical periods. Each day course is taught by a specialist guest tutor. The courses are suitable for dance students, dancers, complete beginners and anyone interested in early music, ballet and history.

PivotPoint Ensemble is a new Theatre company (2010) based in Oxfordshire. It’s aim is to be an ‘ambassador for the arts’, bringing professional level, original, dynamic and relevant theatre arts productions into the local community, and to work in partnership with existing community projects. Most of the pieces PivotPoint performs are original pieces.

TOES (The Oxford Empty Spaces) arts exhibition, is an initiative by a group of artists, to use empty shops in Cowley / Oxford area as viewing art galleries.

Gallery will be oepn on all Thursday's, Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's through the 8 weeks.

Art Exhibition Time: Thursday's: 10 am to 5 pm; Friday's: 10 am to 5 pm; Saturday's: 10 am to 5 pm; Sunday's: 11 am to 4 pm.
