North Oxfordshire's leading chamber choir.

First formed back in 1999 Akeman Voices has built a reputation for performing quality music across the county and beyond.

Generaly presenting four concerts a year they also regular perform at weddings and private functions. Akeman voices has help to raise of £8000 for charity sicne it's formation.

Anjali Dance Company is a professional contemporary dance company, and is one of the first of its kind in the world. All of Anjali's dancers have learning disabilities. The company produces and tours performances and undertakes educational and outreach work. Anjali aims to show that disability is no barrier to creativity.

Artweeks is Oxfordshire's major visual arts festival supporting artists and craftspeople to exhibit their work in more than 400 venues each year.

Established in 1995,Braziers International Artists Workshop (BIAW) is recognised as a unique and highly valued opportunity for artists wishing to examine their practice in a critically engaged and global context. Each year in August up to 20 international artists are brought together to live and work alongside each other in the idyllic rural surroundings of Braziers Park. (www.braziers.org.uk), a residential college in Oxfordshire, located in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Chilterns.

Cowley Carnival 2010 - Stalls Wanted

Carnival in the Park on Sunday 4th July will host a number of diverse food and non-food stalls (including clothing, art, crafts, gifts, not-for-profit organisations, workshops, demonstrations, music/cds, books, innovative, environmentally - friendly activities, information-only stalls, charities and relaxation services and many, many more.... There will also be a ticketted event on Saturday 3rd, details still being finalised.

Job Opportunity - Cutteslowe Community Association A community artist is sought to run a Family Art Club on Thursday afternoons at Cutteslowe Community Centre. The post is available from next February half term. The club runs from 3.00 to 5.00pm on Thursday afternoons during term time and the fee is £50 for two hours. The club is for children aged 5-11 years from the local primary school and is well established. The leader will need to be comfortable at working with a range of media and managing volunteer support. Flash of Splendour Arts is a dynamic community arts organisation that specializes in creating groundbreaking exhibitions and accompanying publications to museum-standard levels of production.

We work both entirely in house and in partnership with individuals and institutions to develop and facilitate unique shows based on their own resources, either to remain on site or to tour, locally or nationally.

Fusion Arts is an arts organisation and charity based in Oxford working within the community.

Our premises are located at the heart of East Oxford and the legendary Cowley Road, behind East Oxford Community Centre on Princes Street. East Oxford has long been a hub for artists and makers, and we are proud to be part of this creative community.
