I'm an illustrator/ artist and have studied at the University of Plymouth for a BA(Hons) Art & Design. I really enjoy the image making process and have had many successful commissions ranging from landscape, portraiture to illustration work. Please contact me for possible commissions.

Akeman Voices was formed in 1999 by Musical Director, Martin Quinn. The choir, made up of just 17 accomplished local singers from the North Oxfordshire area, performs a mainly classical repertoire. Akeman Voices travels around Oxfordshire & neighbouring counties in a busy concert schedule, raising funds for various causes along the way.

I am a published poet who performs his work regularly in Oxford, London and the south-east. I have worked as a poet in residence at a nearby prison, and have run poetry workshops for people of all ages in schools and community settings; I also offer one-to-one mentoring for poets wanting to develop their writing and live performance skills. I am interested in working with other artists to create collaborative projects that combine spoken and written word with music, dance and visual arts.

I have been singing professionally for 30 years, and teaching singing for over 25 years, working with a lot of different singers, in many musical styles.

I train professional singers and singing teachers, and am very experienced in dealing with the psychological aspects of voice development and performance. Lessons include clear explanation of vocal anatomy and function, how each technique creates certain physical sensations and sounds, and what is healthy for the voice.
