Based in Oxford, I specialise in portraiture and publishing work.

My styles range from realistic oil and acrylic, to impressionistic palette knife work. I produce digital artwork using Painter and Photoshop for Publishing and advertising.

I also take commissions and offer private tuition in portraiture.

Folk Weekend Oxford – 20th – 22nd April 2012 - is the replacement for Oxford folk Festival, which was sadly cancelled in 2011. The Festival will be based in The Old Fire Station, with events happening also happening at Wesley Memorial Church & Hall, Oxford Castle & Ashmolean Museum. A free craft fair will be based in the Gardens at Oxford Castle, with Morris displays and performances also taking place there.

'Show Me the Monet' for BBC Two

We are making a brand new series of 'Show Me the Monet' for BBC Two, the first series transmitted earlier this year in May.

We are looking for both amateur and professional artists from across the nation to apply and it would be fantastic if you were able to let your network of artists know how to apply for the show, should they wish to.

As before, our Hanging Committee of three art experts is looking for great art - painting, drawing, photography, prints, sculpture, textile art (as hangings not textile design or fashion) - to put into their prestigious exhibition in London where members

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Visual Arts team at South Hill Park. The intern will gain experience in multiple aspects of exhibitions work including: • Administration • Marketing • Invigilating exhibitions • Installing and dismounting exhibitions • Archiving • Researching exhibitions Past interns at South Hill Park Arts Centre have gone on to work at exciting venues such as Kew Gardens, Tate and The National Trust.

A reminder to artists that Worton Park is looking for love for next year's Art Weeks exhibition. The wedding venue is holiding its first Art Weeks exhibition and artists must apply for exhibition space before 19th December.

Local artists and art groups are invited to a special date with Worton for Art Weeks from 5 – 13 May 2012, to exhibit their wowork in an exhibition which will be themed ‘Love Is….’

Work can be submitted in any art form, including sculpture, pottery, jewellery, and paintings.

Pitt Rivers Museum

The Pitt Rivers Museum is the University of Oxford's museum of anthropology and world archaeology.

Founded in 1884 following a gift to the University from General Pitt Rivers it retains its unique period atmosphere with dense displays of artefacts, many in the original wooden display cabinets. As a result, it has often been described as a 'Museum of Museums'.

The Museum offers a changing programme of exhibitions from its reserve collection as well as photography exhibitions and site specific artist installations.
