Pegasus is an arts centre established in East Oxford since 1962.

Wantage Art Group organises demonstrations,talks and workshops for those interested in the visual arts. Our monthly meetings are normally in the Civic Hall, Portway, Wantage at 7.30 on the third Wednesday in the month. Many of our members are active painters and some are more involved with 3D work, pottery and sculpture but all share a wish to learn.

I've set up Windrush Creative as a new business for 2012 and its aim is to offer new and exciting craft workshops in West Oxfordshire. So far the following workshops have been organised: Weave a Willow Animal, Weave a Willow Plant Support, Make Your Own Mosaic and Make Your Own Felt. New workshops currently being organised including: Make Your Own Bead Jewellery and Paint Your Own Pottery. Other ideas for workshops include: soap making, handmade paper making, Christmas gift making, living willow structures, silver jewellery and more.

The Pitt Rivers Museum is the University of Oxford's museum of anthropology and world archaeology.

Founded in 1884 following a gift to the University from General Pitt Rivers it retains its unique period atmosphere with dense displays of artefacts, many in the original wooden display cabinets. As a result, it has often been described as a 'Museum of Museums'.

The Museum offers a changing programme of exhibitions from its reserve collection as well as photography exhibitions and site specific artist installations.

I'm a 27 year old American whose just moved to the UK from 10 years in Los Angeles and New York. I'm a creative type and have worked professionally in the following areas:

Theatre: Performance (Acting, Singing, Dance), Directing, Stage Managing, Improv (Educator and Performer)

Film: 1st Assistant Director, Grip

Writer: Screenplay, Staged Play, Working on my first novel!

Arts at the Old Fire Station is a charity and social enterprise in the heart of Oxford, offering a range of performances and exhibitions for everyone, support for emerging artists and enterprising ways to sustain and develop art as a business.

We have a shop selling original artwork, a gallery with a wide range of exhibitions, a theatre offering music and drama, a studio for all kinds of dance and workshops for artists to make work. We also have space to hire for classes, rehearsals and meetings.
